Your English-speaking driver will drive you to the breathtaking hills and “borghi” (tiny villages) of the Prosecco area, completely covered by terraced vineyards: this is the home of the most famous Italian sparkling white wine. You will follow the Prosecco wine route through the sloping vineyards and medieval villages of the Veneto Region, stopping to admire the picturesque 16th-century Molinetto della Croda (the Watermill Set in the Rock), and the unique Osteria Senza Oste (the Inn without a Host). You will visit two local estates and discover all the secrets of Prosecco winemaking. You’ll see the huge stainless steel tanks and learn about the current Prosecco winemaking method, called Martinotti or Charmat, as well as enjoy sipping delicious high-quality prosecco.
