Italy is a country of extraordinary beauty, for several reasons, namely for its food, landscapes, sea, monuments and history. Through the centuries, various populations such as the Greeks, the Arabs, the Normans, the Bourbons, took turns in colonizing the country, leaving an incredible cultural heritage behind them, creating a rich melting pot that is Italy today.

Currency

Euros will the currency that you will be using the entire time you are in Italy. We recommend going to your local bank and exchange some currency for when you first arrive in Italy. The exchange rates in Italy are much better, so we suggest getting the bulk of your money once you have arrived. Also bring with you, your debit/bank card and credit cards. Most Debit Cards should work on any ATM you come across. Please be sure Notify your local bank and credit card company that you will be leaving the country so they do not shut off your cards while you are on your trip due to fraudulent charges.

Museums on Guided Tours

One of the great things that L&B can provide is a “Skip the Line” option. Which means at the bigger tours such as the Coliseum and the Vatican you will not have to wait in those long lines but get to jump straight to the front and start the tour right away. We are able to provide you with the “Skip the Line” at all tours that have that option. If for any reason that the tours are unavailable or closed we are able to reimburse you or provide you with an alternative.
